The Vanguard Desert Sand Motorcycle Jacket is a CE-certified adventure jacket built for riders who need adaptable protection, extensive ventilation and practical storage for long-distance or mixed-terrain riding.
Certified to CE Level AA, the jacket is fitted with TetraHex™ CE Level 2 five-piece armour at the shoulders, elbows and back, offering impact protection across key rider zones. The outer shell uses a durable, lightweight nylon construction without lamination, providing a flexible, comfortable feel ideal for extended journeys.
A standout feature of the Vanguard is its modular 10k/10k waterproof, breathable thermal bomber jacket, which can be added or removed depending on conditions — giving riders multi-season versatility. Ventilation is fully adjustable through airflow panels at the chest, full sleeves and back, allowing efficient temperature regulation in warm or changing climates.
Storage is extensive, with two large internal stow pockets, one waterproof internal chest pocket, and a tactical pocket configuration totalling 10 pockets. Fit can be tailored through stud-fastened sleeve width adjustments, hook & loop waist and cuff adjustment, and an elasticated drawcord with zipper-fastened hem adjustment.
Additional rider-focused details include long and short trouser attachment zippers, a neoprene-tipped collar, an elasticated action-back for improved mobility, and reflective/fluorescent visibility elements for enhanced visibility in low-light environments.

EU VAT & IOSS – No Hidden Fees
We are registered for the IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) scheme, which means:
- All EU taxes and duties are paid at checkout
- You won’t be charged anything extra when your parcel arrives
- Tracked and reliable delivery via DPD
For deliveries outside of the EU, please note:
- Import duties, local taxes and customs charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost
- These charges are set by the destination country and must be paid by the customer
- The courier or local customs office will contact you directly to collect payment before delivery
If an order is refused or taxes and duties remain unpaid and the parcel is returned to us, a refund will be issued for the item(s) only. Original shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to estimate these charges in advance or refund them if an order is returned or refused.

RETURNS
We hope you're happy with your purchase. If there’s an issue, the information below outlines our returns process.
We offer a full refund on all items returned to the address below within:
- 30 days of receipt for UK orders
- 30 days of receipt for international orders, including the EU
All items must be in original condition, unworn, and with tags and packaging intact. Please ensure you include the completed returns form that was enclosed in your parcel, so we can process your return as quickly as possible.
If your item is faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can arrange a replacement, repair or refund.
UK Returns
To make a return from within the UK, please use our Returns Portal to generate a prepaid returns label. For non faulty returns a shipping fee of £4.50 will be deducted from your refund.
International Returns
Customers outside the UK are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage until your return has been processed. To avoid additional customs charges, parcels should be clearly marked as: “Returned goods – no commercial value”. Failure to do so may result in duties being charged, which we are unable to cover and may be deducted from your refund.
Additional Information
Postage charges are non-refundable.
- For orders with free delivery, the equivalent postage cost will be deducted from your refund.
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days of receiving your return.
- If returned items are found to be damaged due to customer misuse, you may be liable for the cost of repair and return.
