Following this ethos, the SPADA team embarked on a journey which involved tapping into what real riders look for when purchasing protective motorbike clothing.
After carrying out a series of adverts and communications in 2019 through publications and digital reach, a focus group of real riders was formed. The R & D team at Spada leveraged this opportunity to really find out what these everyday riders expect from Motorbike gear, what matters the most and how Spada can help provide the ultimate riding outfit.
For us, the brief was simple quoted Project Manager at Spada clothing “We wanted to produce a jacket that worked for riders, whatever the season or riding style. Whilst speaking to these riders, we felt there was a true gap in the market that Spada as a trusted brand in the industry needed to focus on. Evidently, we received so much constructive feedback through these focus groups, that we ended up creating two jackets instead of one" the new Alberta four-layered Jacket has been designed and produced with these riders in mind.
Built to form many layers, this modular jacket is the perfect multi-layer jacket, designed so that all layers can be used collectively or independently from each other. Developed to handle all four seasons, the Alberta has been produced for all styles of riding through all kinds of weather.
Layer 1 is a thermal gilet that can attach to the inner of the main jacket using a loop system. Layer 2 is a CE Level ‘A’ Certified mesh jacket with a five-piece CE armour. The jacket is available in a variation of colours including black, grey, or blue.
